DABs Clocks is a collection of hand made, one of a kind devices that each display time in unconventional and interesting ways. These time pieces are both functionally and aesthetically pleasing. I design and build some of my clocks without any assistance. For others I turn to Guy Marsden for the engineering and fabrication phase. In these situations I bring a concept to Guy and through an iterative and collaborative process I'll eventually create a 3D representation of the clock that Guy will build.

Challenges
1. Coding!!!
It's more complicated than Lux. In fact it may be heading into the territory that became problematic for Lux and ultimately was abandoned.
Pros
1. Engineering/fabrication
a. No Satinice screen or LED array
Like Lux it tells the time to the nearest hour (the arrow head). At the quarter hour (12, 3, 6 and 9) it enters its hypnotic phase and rotates 2x counterclockwise, comes to a slow stop, rotates clockwise to the home position (12), pauses, and slowly returns clockwise to the current time. It would be nice if a motion sensor could be used to activate the disc for 1 minute. The clock would then go home on it's way back to telling the time.
