DAB's Clocks is a collection of hand made, one of a kind devices that each display time in unconventional and interesting ways. For many of these clocks I have been fortunate to work collaboratively with several creative and skilled individuals. I'll typically build a mock up to confirm feasibility and essential design features and then create a simple rendering. These renderings become the basis for the fabrication.
Spiral Clock

Derivative of InclinoClock:
1.Only displays time when prompted. Numbers for hours will be easily readable-not sure what form this will take.
2.In the Rest mode the ball is located at the midpoint of the spiral track and the spiral face could be rocking back and forth like a pendulum.
3.When activated the spiral face rotates in order to position the ball at the correct time. After a pause the clock goes back into the Rest mode.
Note: the ball does not disappear behind the back of the clock face to return to the Rest position. It relocates to this position along the track by rotating the clock face in the appropriate direction.
How to make the track?
It could be made from Tygon tubing that is pinned to the track. Pins might serve dual purpose and also mark the time.
